The Morrisons Busty Depot project has been completed. This project assists Durham County Council address the current climate change challenges. It is the first carbon-neutral depot in the UK which will generate clean energy for the site to use, reducing the site’s overall consumption. The development includes a three-megawatt solar farm and battery storage plant, which will be  used to power its services and support the council’s transition to electric vehicles.
