A new house developed in Northumberland, Fold house evokes the layout of a Northumberland Farmhouse using modern metal barns as inspiration. The environmental designed scheme is innovative in its method of storing heat in the ground through an earth bank and displacing this back through the house. The house will set new standards of energy efficiency and self-generation within the striking design, making use of the latest technologies and pushing the boundaries of knowledge.
