The Academy is part of the Horizons Specialist Academy Trust and provides specialist educational provision to 30 primary and 70 secondary pupils who have social, emotional and mental health needs. The first of its kind in Redcar.

The school’s design has created two distinct teaching spaces for primary and secondary pupils providing access to multiple internal and external learning experiences designed to motivate and to achieve success, confidence and positivity about who they are.
