We are pleased to announce that the Planning Application has now been submitted by Interserve to Middlesbrough City Council for the construction of a SEND school on the former Nature’s World land, Sandy Flatts Lane, Middlesbrough.
Howarth Litchfield has worked with Tees Valley Education Trust (TVED), Department for Education and Interserve to deliver a high-quality educational facility which will be both inclusive and safe. It will also provide a stimulating learning environment for pupils with SLD and complex special educational needs and disabilities.
The proposed school will meet special educational provision requirements and appropriately respond to its immediate context. It will not only be a welcoming place for its pupils and staff but also multi-agency professionals, parents, carers and potentially the wider community. The project is planned to move to site in the new year.
