HL were appointed in April 2022 by The United Reformed Church (Northern Province) Trust Limited to undertake Quinquennial Inspections of fifty properties over the next five years for which the church are trustees of.

Properties including churches, halls, manses and investment properties. Churches that vary considerably in size from small rural chapels to large urban churches with adjoining halls, most built in the 19th or 20th centuries, some dating substantially from the 18th century with sixteen of them Grade II listed and two Grade II*. Nineteen situated within conservation areas and two within the Yorkshire Dales National Park.

HL will undertake the Quinquennial Inspections, produce written reports pertaining to the general condition of the property as a whole and identify any repairs necessary giving an overview of how best to budget for and carry out the repairs based on their urgency. HL will also provide the additional service of presenting and explaining their inspection findings and recommendations to those responsible for managing the property in each case as well as providing advice and managing property projects as required.
