HL were invited to run a workshop with Investing in Children, and Full Circle who are an organisation providing therapy and counselling services to young people aged 4-18 in care within the Durham County Council area.
The workshop centred around getting participants the young people involved in the re-design of the Full Circle therapy rooms and reception as well as giving them a feel for how the interior design process works and evolves. They were invited to express how they would like therapy rooms to look, feel and what they would like to be included. They created mood boards with fabrics, flooring samples and colour paint swatches, then were able to view their final designs using 3D CAD modelling software.
The event was well attended and received with all design ideas and suggestions being taken forward to help inform the final design scheme of the for Full Circle therapy rooms and reception area.
