Our clients are always looking for help with developments and the Carbon trust has quietly produced some funds which could assist some of our clients.
The £7m fund has been made available to SME’s on a first come-first served basis, and will offer energy saving training, cost saving assessments, implementation advice, and capital support for the installation of energy efficiency equipment. The grant is limited to £10,000 (exc. VAT) or 15% of the total value of the project and only SMEs are eligible for the fund.
The grant will be on a first come first served basis for the whole of England, Scotland and Wales with a target of helping 1000-2000 businesses (which isn’t many across such a large area!).
The fund opens in early June .
