The proposed new Learning Disabilities Centre at Bankfields Court, Normanby, Middlesbrough will be a 1600m² purpose built, single storey, 18 bed en-suite residential facility for Tees Esk & Wear Valleys NHS Foundation Trust. The centre will house support facilities including Activity Rooms, a Sensory Room, a Sensory Garden, and a Therapy/Treatment Room and provide secure outdoor relaxation spaces for patients. The development is due to start on site in January 2011, with completion planned for November/December.
