Major extension and refurbishment programme undertaken to the Grade II Star Victorian Country Hall.

Former home of Lord and Lady Hamilton, extensive refurbishment of 1980’s / 1990’s bedroom block to create 130 no. of bedrooms and a new business Centre / Function Room.

Complete refurbishment / restoration of Country Hall including 45 no. luxury bedroom suites. Howarth Litchfield was appointed to develop site strategy proposals for Acklam Hall incorporating GP practices, extra care / sheltered accommodation and residential development. Commercial services including restaurant, function rooms, consultants chambers and office accommodation will be located within the existing Acklam Hall.

The development of the site strategy at Acklam Hall has involved detailed discussions and negotiations with the local Planning Authority, English Heritage and the Georgian Society.
