Senior Building Surveyor

Howarth Litchfield Partnership Ltd (HL) is an award winning multi-disciplinary practice offering Architectural, Building Surveying and Interior Design Services to both public and private sector clients across the UK.

We work across all sectors including education, health, heritage, commercial/industrial, hotel/sport/leisure and residential and due to an increasing and exciting workload we are now looking to strengthen the current Building Surveying Team with a qualified (RICS) Senior Building Surveyor.

Role Description – Site visits, undertaking building condition surveys, Quinquennial inspections, report writing, preparation of schedules of repairs, planning/listed building/building regulation applications/tender packages, attending meetings, supervision of works, working with clients, consultants, statutory bodies and local authorities and advising on technical issues.

Essential Requirements – The ideal candidate will hold a BSc (Hons) degree in Building Surveying and be MRICS accredited. If not already, then be aspired to work towards their Chartership. Previous work experience essential with an excellent knowledge of building construction and Health & Safety related matters.

This role requires good communication skills, self-motivation with the ability to prioritise work-loads along with good design and technical knowledge to their appropriate level and knowledge of Revit, AutoCAD and InDesign.
