HL are delighted to announce that Alumno’s student development on Whitelock Street, Leeds has been granted planning permission by Leeds City Council.
The new 11,955 square metre project will not only see the regeneration of a run-down, disused site but will also provide 105 residential units to 411 of the city’s students.
Students will be able to choose from 53 studios and a range of 4 to 8 bedroom cluster flats within the 6/7 floor planned building. They will also have access to communal areas, a central hub, gym, cinema, laundry room, roof terrace with a garden and secure bicycle storage.
The development will also provide studio and gallery space for emerging local artists on the ground floor, which will be managed by local award-winning non-profit organization East Street Arts.
