Great to attend Northumbria University at Newcastle last week to further our knowledge of recording and reporting our carbon footprint in our goal to achieve net zero carbon emissions by 2030.
We have taken ownership of our direct organisational greenhouse gas emissions and how we can reduce our effect on the environment through sustainable energy production and other efficient operations. We are also looking at how we can reduce our indirect impact through responsible suppliers and external operations, all working towards improving our carbon footprint.
Equipped with our knowledge and understanding of the issues around climate change and greenhouse gases combined with construction fabric expertise and a knowledge of building services we have been commissioned for several Decarbonisation/Heat Decarbonisation Reports for external clients which enable clients to apply for funding to upgrade existing assets.
